SHOREWOOD DIVE MEET JOBS

Shorewood will host three home dive meets this season. Each Shorewood dive family is required to volunteer to work at a minimum of one home dive meet. The divers appreciate your help!!  

You will receive a Sign-Up Genius email prior to the first home meet with volunteer opportunities listed or you can click on the link below. There are lots of opportunities and options for volunteering. No experience is needed to work at the meets (we will train you on-site). All volunteers report to top floor of pool house at the start of your shift.

AWARDS

           •       ♦ (1 person) Prepare and distribute ribbons to athletes.

FLOATER

•       ♦ (1 person) Pre-Meet Floater: Job will be determined at that time. This position ends at the start of the meet.

•       (1 person) Meet Floater: Job will be determined at the meet. This position is mostly meant to serve as a back-up in case a volunteer is unable to perform their job.

ANNOUNCER

•       (1 person) Announces dives, divers, and scores.  

ANNOUNCER ASSISTANT

•       (1 person) Assists announcer with paperwork and logistics.

SCORER

•       (1 person) Record raw scores on paper dive sheets.

EDIVE

•        (1 person) Enter scores into computer using EDive software.

•        (1 person) Verifies Edive scores match paper-recorded scores after each dive and assists with Edive as needed.
